Sue, was the main inspiration behind Golden Hinde, she was the one who got Sarah interested in Embroidery and Goldwork, and supported Sarah when she set up the business.  Sue would help at shows, as well as assisting Sarah when designing kits and stitched many of the samples that we use.

Sadly Sue passed away on the 25th May 2022 and we would like to use this page to share all the work that she did and customers fond memories of Sue. 

Sue created so many beautiful pieces of work and she was an inspiration to everyone who met her. below are just some of the beautiful piece of work that she created, many are Goldwork which was always her favourite but she enjoyed many different types of Embroidery and experimenting with different techniques. Her talent really was amazing and she was a beautiful soul inside and out. She always had a smile for everyone and was more than happy to give advice.
