Session 1 Full tacking video
This video, covers how to transfer your design to your tracing paper and then transferring to your fabric using the tacking method. It is a good idea to use a coloured thread so that you can see your tacking. Do large stitches following the lines. To remove your tracing, go over your stitches with a needle and then your tracing should come off easily, and in one piece. If you have an area that needs smaller stitches you may find the tracing paper harder to remove, don’t worry if the tracing rips. The most important thing is to go over the stitched with a needle, not between the stitches, this will make is easier to take the tracing off in one go.
